1) We have a black; yes a black President ladies and gentlemen!
2) Oprah is totally rich enough to practically own her own small country. She is not only black but also a female! Go figure.
3) George Lopez now has a primetime talk show. Stepping out of the sitcom and standup world, Mr. Lopez is now in the same league as Jay Leno and David Letterman.
4) Everyone loves Beyonce.
5) Rap music makes the most money out of any genre and continues to influence on our culture in a vast amount of beneficial ways. How else would everyone know how to hustle or how speak to females of African descent?
6) Spanish is being taught mandatorily in schools. Enough said.
7) Did I mention we have a black President? Oh and his wife and kids are black too AND they all get to live in the White House. That’s amazing!!
8) We celebrate Black History month and Cinco de Mayo with the same intensity as Fourth of July.
9) Isn’t there a statue of Martin Luther King being built somewhere?
10) Last but certainly not least, the President is black. Us Americans put him in that position of power, which is a true testament of the fact that racism is extinct.
All in all, the United States deserves a hearty pat on the back because it has come a long way. America would be an even better place if minorities would wake up and realize they have nothing to complain about.
How far have we really come? You be the judge, comment and tell us what you think.

Racism isn't natural. Its a social construct aimed at degrading equality that everyone should be striving for. I am nor have I ever been a racist or had racist thoughts. Racial divides will only push us further away from equality instead of fostering it.
So, how do you determine race? Isn't everyone "mixed" with something? What if Hawaiians and Alaskans want to stay in their native area? Can you really see Palin on a surfboard?
everyone is mixed with something but if you are 75% white then you are considered a white person, if you are 55% black then your are considered black. so thats how i guess racism is defined. but i believe racism is the reason why we are so divided and anyone who wants to feel safe would only and naturally get with their own kind. for example a monster wouldn't live in a room filled with all the cupids in the world.
attempting to hold back my emotions on this very controversial issue, let me start by saying: ANYONE AGREEING WITH THIS IDEA IS A RIDICULOUS PERSON! Now that I have gotten that out of the way, I will begin the scholastic version of my tirade.
I cannot argue with the facts; Blacks are comfortable with blacks and Whites are comfortable with whites. As the website mentions, this is a biologically justified phenomena. It ends there however. The consequences of allowing this form of "intentional racism" will inevitably lead to race wars in America, large reduction in GDP, and the upheaval of the very fabric of "open-mindedness" that has made America arguably the most formidable superpower in the world.
I have a great deal of respect for the work of the late Marcus Garvey. My support ends where it is suggested that all the black people should just go back to Africa. In my opinion, going back to Africa should not literally mean for the blacks to relocate to Africa; rather, it should mean that blacks gain a renewed sense of self. All African Americans should know their history. They should have exposure to and a physical connection with Africa, but by no means does that mean every black person move to Africa.
Now, maybe I can just foresee future events, but can anyone not picture what would happen if such a segregation law was passed? The very moment that there is any dispute between the "black" communities and the "white" communities, the racial fervor will escalate into widespread violence. There are countless events where this has happened. This is not to mention the obvious conflicts that would occur with the logistics of such an effort. Who will receive the land that is fertile for farming? Who will be near the seaports? Well why does the white community get to be near the water? Why do the blacks get to reside in such beautiful weather? The disputes would be limitless.
As I have stated, I am very aware that there is a natural human tendency for people to feel a level of comfort with those of their kind. Just think how you would feel as a human on new planet surrounded by cyborgs and you just so happened to spot another human; it would be love at first sight! But that is an extreme case. Rather, what we have here in America is a microcosm of the world. People of all colors and backgrounds interacting to achieve their own specific goals. By alienating the races, an environment of elitism, jealousy, and inequity develops. Can't we all just get along???
when one thinks of segregation the thought of separation is clearly evident....how will separating a nation unify a nation. a unified nation is not a nation that classifies its citizen by their race. a unified nation is one that is unified with no boundaries.

What benefits has integration gotten us anyway? Integrated schools still fail minorites and discrimination is now so institutionalized that most Americans really do think we live in a color-blind raceless society. I say all that to say that neither integration nor segregation or assimiliation/acculturation-or any of the "academic" names for things that dont really happen in the real word - are working? Time to scrap them all and come up with new ideas. Racial divides are not diminishing in an Obama-America. Please don't be fooled.
This shit is dumb how dare you say everyone is a racist at heart it ideas like this that cause negativity and violence in the first place.
This project is LUDICROUS and only a Fool is doomed to repeat history!
BARE MY SOUL
WITH TEAR IN MY EYE AN INJUSTICE UNFOLDS...
I STAND HERE BEFORE YOU I BARE MY SOUL
THE WHITE MAN’S SHIPS SET SAIL IN COUNTLESS SEAS
THEY DOCK AT MY LAND IN SEARCH OF ... ME
BRUTALLY ... I AM KIDNAPPED
I’M TAKEN AWAY FROM MY FAMILY
MY CLOTHING HOW DIRTY, RAGGED AND TORE
JUDGED NOT FOR MY ACTIONS BUT A COLOR I BORE!
I’VE BEEN STRIPPED OF ALL PRIDE ROBBED OF MY NET WORTH
MERELY BECAUSE OF MY COLOR ... AT BIRTH.
THEY COULDN’T BREAK MY SPIRIT WHEN THEY BATTERED ME
UNTIL THEY TOOK AWAY MY RIGHT ...
MY RIGHT TO BE FREE.
THEY PUT ME ON AN AUCTION BLOCK DISPLAYING ME AND OTHERS LIKE ANIMAL STOCK
I LOOK AT THEM CLOSELY AS THEY STARE AT ME
WE’RE ALL ALIKE YET MANY REFUSE TO SEE
OH ... I PRAY FOR THE WISDOM THAT WILL SOON LET ME GO
AS I STAND BEFORE YOU AND BARE MY SOUL...
STANDING IN BONDAGE THEY RIP THE SHIRT TO EXPOSE MY CHEST
SHOWING MUSCLES AND SCARS FROM THEIR ENDURANCE TESTS
HALF NAKED AND CHAINED FOR ALL TO BEHOLD….WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ANNOUNCE ME AS SOLD!
BRANDED MARKINGS WILL DIE AND I’LL FADE AWAY
BUT THE SCARRING INSIDE IS HERE TO STAY
I STAND BEFORE YOU BOTH YOUNG AND OLD
I STILL STAND BEFORE YOU BARING MY SOUL
I’M TIRED AND HUNGRY I LONG FOR MY PAST
I CRY IN THE NIGHT HOW LONG WILL THIS LAST
I HEAR THE CHEERS I HEAR THEM SHOUT
SLAVERY’S ALIVE THERE’S NO WAY OUT
NOWHERE TO RUN, NOWHERE TO HIDE
HE THAT BIDS MOST WINS ME AS HIS PRIZE
OH ...I PRAY FOR THEIR WISDOM THAT THEY SOON SET ME FREE
I PRAY FOR A WORLD IN WHICH I CAN BE ME
MAY TIME STAND STILL FOR ALL TO SEE
A WAR OF RACISM WILL ALWAYS BE
WITHOUT WISDOM OF THIS HISTORY
HALF BENT AND CHAINED FOR ALL TO BEHOLD
I STAND HERE BEFORE YOU … NAKED …. TO THE SOUL.
